The highlight of these outreach events is having multiple churches come together as the Warrenton Gospel Partnership in a local Warrenton park. These events bridge across generations, and enable these churches to serve as a unified body, while sharing Christ’s love with the community and ministering to those in need of a savior. Since these events are designed to reach the community at large, hence ministering to believers and unbelievers alike, all are treated the same, with a focus on being a beacon of the love of Christ to the community.

Stories in the Park: Summer

During this 4 day event, which is hosted by the Warrenton Gospel Partnership in a local park, an intentional Gospel centered lesson is presented to all ages. In addition to learning about Jesus Christ, participants will play games, make crafts and enjoy yummy food as a community. Throughout this event, we focus on being intentional with the community around us by walking in brotherly love with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Stories in the Park: A Savior is Born

This event, also hosted by the Warrenton Godpel Partnership, is free to the community and takes place at Eva Walker Park following the Christmas parade. We make an intentional point to be in our community and share not only the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, but also His death, resurrection and ascension into heaven. This is done with a live shadow nativity that has 8 stations telling the story of Christ’s life. All ages are welcome to come out and enjoy this event with carolers, a live nativity, which provides a great picture opportunity, and lots of warm cocoa and cookies.
